What to check in this category

Weight and cut vary a lot between hoodie and sweater listings, and a popular design usually shows up from several sellers at once. Compare before you commit to one.

• Read the seller’s own measurements instead of trusting an S/M/L label — sizing is not standardised here.
• Look for whether fleece weight or fabric make-up is stated. Many listings do not say, and it cannot be assumed from a photo.
• Check that the colour looks consistent across all the listing images; photos are often shot under different lighting.
